For the love of all that is good, pull Marze please! 5 runs and he hasnt really gotten an out yet (1 out on ball hitting runner.) At some point, you realize he wont get any either. Incredibly frustrating when you see a team basically run through the lineup without getting outs

At the same time, he could turn around and get a double play and save you a change

5 runs in one inning, aint gonna do squat in the postseason like that. robe has a bad habit of leaving pitchers in way too long when they are in trouble. when a pitcher warms up then sits for and hour and a half, he should have a very short leash. marze totally fell apart right there

Blaming Robe already? Funny how falling behind in game 1 of the tournament brings out the doubters again. Dayton was doing great until the 4th. Its easy to say that Robe left him in to long after the fact. Nothing in the first 3 innings showed that a 5 run inning was coming.

not blaming him, bases juiced no outs, not even a trip to the mound. he didnt even send griff to the pen until we gave up 2 runs and still had bases juiced. after warming up and having to sit for an hour and a half you should keep a closer eye.

Just have to warm up the sticks and hit the ball. No reason we should not score a few more with the way we were hitting the first three innings.

That has been one of Tony's major faults. We can talk about his faults can't we? One of the best college baseball coaches of all time but he has weaknesses. Leaving the pitcher in too long is one of em. But I have faith in him that he can compensate for this and still get us a win tonight.

And we aren't getting through this tournament by yanking pitchers. Its tough but these guys have to get it done. The rain delay hurt but we have to take advantage in the same way. Game isn't over yet.

Exactly. In a 8 team double elimination tournament, you cannot pull pitchers at the first sign of trouble. You'll never survive should you make it to the championship game. These kids have to man up and get the outs when it matters most.
