NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A deadline is looming for flood victims in
six Louisiana parishes to apply for federal disaster loans from the
Small Business Administration.
June 21 is the SBA filing deadline for small businesses in
Concordia, East Carroll, East Feliciana, Madison, Tensas and West
Feliciana parishes that were affected by floods that occurred
between April 25 and June 25, 2009.
Businesses in that area may be eligible to borrow up to $2
million through the SBA's economic injury disaster loan program.
