Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon wants to remind residents that
deputies will conduct a Safety Checkpoint on Wednesday, May 26, 2010
from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at an undisclosed location in Acadia Parish.

Melancon stated that deputies will be checking for seat belt and child restraint compliance.
