(AP) — BATON ROUGE, La. - Gabriele Bridges hit a three-run home run and Brittany Cuevas pitched a complete game to lead Louisiana-Lafayette to a 6-1 victory against Texas A&M to win the NCAA softball regional at LSU's Tiger Park. The Ragin' Cajuns ...
Moanroe news star has no mention of it either. Think that would be the case if State had won?

Same thing in Lake Charles and just what I expected. Sports guy hates UL and loves LSU and only put in a line stating that they lost to UL. Would have been an article had LSU won. They did a great job of covering the Cowgirls and I am happy for them and they have a very good coach that played there and knows what she is doing. Go Cajuns!!!
In all fairness, had McNeese played A&M for the title, I wouldn't expect a slew of coverage in the Daily Advertiser. I have to remind myself that the world does not revolve around UL.

UL Advances: The Ragin' Cajuns secured a spot in the NCAA super regionals with a 6-1 victory over Texas A&M in the Baton Rouge Regional championship game at Tiger Park.
UL had 14 hits, including a three-run homer by Gabriele Bridges.
Also a 8 paragraph story on La State's loss to A&M.
YEP...I read the same article this morning....Lake Charles American Press is a crock of crap...They sure have the eyes of the McNeese fans looking thru Purple And Gold glasses....They sure could'a just reported the actual UL/Texas A&M final game...but it wasn't McNeese they were worried about...It is the reporters having to report on LSU's losses this weekend.....tiger Field is now LOUISIANA FIELD......you gotta love the CAJUNS!
