Seriously. The Cajuns have been a consistent top 20 team since about 1987 or something. Having finished 3rd at the CWS, the "next level" would be a national championship, something historically reserved for west coast powers like Arizona. I don't think LSU gets to talk to us about the next level in softball.
Moving on to a related topic, what planet is the NCAA on? The seedings suggest that big conference bias seems to be bleeding into softball. UL has been a perennial powerhouse for years. UL should be given the benefit of the doubt in seeding until it starts to stink up the place on a regular basis. Instead, TAMU gets a 2 based on some perceived strength that clearly isn't there.
