That's the rookie minimum salary cap. The practice squad guys get $5,200 for 17 weeks. $88400 not a bad salary.

Dez and Chery are one of a select few. Huge props to them. Only 8 players make a practice squad.

Exactly.he did not come into the NFL with a pedigree that would make a squad immediately. he will have to earn it through the practice squad. then to special teams. and then hopefully develope in a new position. I think he has the athleticism to do so and just needs the mind set that jake had to stick it out
