Oil located on Cheniere Au Tigre in Parish

Cheniere Au Tigre was once considered a luxury island where the rich visited to get away from the rat race in the 1950s. On Wednesday, oil was located on the beach of Cheniere Au Tigre in Vermilion Parish.
The bad news came about 10 in the morning Wednesday when Tim Vincent, who oversees the Audubon Society in Vermilion Parish, visited the uninhabited island, located 20 miles due south of Intracoastal City.
