Mayor Mark Piazza assured residents the water leak problems are on the mend.
“We’re in pretty good shape. Two new leaks started this past weekend,” Piazza said. “Leaks on Bernadette, Dean and Maude are newly resurfaced. We’re going to have to bury new water lines, but we should be done by the end of the week.”
He said the number of leaks has greatly decreased from 28 last week to just around six or seven this week. He said he hopes that by the weekend, all the leak problems will be dealt with.
