The House of Representative's Acadiana Delegation elected State Representative Jonathan “J.P.” Perry, as its 2010-11 chairman.
This will be the third year Perry serves as Chairman of the Delegation. The Acadiana Delegation represents 22 parishes with the core being that of Vermilion, Acadia, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Iberia and Lafayette.

Perry said he, along with the officers, have pledged to work together and with state agencies and local governing authorities to assure quality representation for the people of Acadiana.
