Baton Rouge - At noon today Scott Angelle has become Louisiana's interim Lieutenant Governor. The Legislature and Governor Bobby Jindal confirmed Angelle's nomination for the position after Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu resigned on May 3. Landrieu was recently sworn in as New Orleans Mayor.Angelle takes over the number two position until a fall election can be held.
