So, if UCLA loses their regional and UL wins the LSU regional, does UL play at whoever wins the UCLA regional or do we host?

_ I don't know of any way to stream that, maybe on ESPN's website. I was hoping UL might have a little get together at Lamson Park to watch the selection show like they've done in the past. Haven't heard or read anything to that effect. _

The sad thing is they haven't even started construction. Seems like they could have waited a couple of more weeks just in case we could host. We would really shoot ourselves in the foot if we could host and have to give that up because of our stadium. Oh well, we haven't won the regional yet, so no need to speculate any further.

Last year, LSU went to Arizona State and played and probably should have won, Oklahoma was upset by North Dakota State. If LSU would have won that region, they would have hosted NDS in the supers. If two teams who don't have Regional/Super Regional stadiums meet, not really sure what goes on...maybe they will play but not be televised.

Yes. But UCLA will not lose their regional.

Technically, they don't differentiate bw 2 and 3 seed I think, but as of last week, A&M had a higher RPI

Pretty sure A&M is the #2 and UL is the #3, like last year in Waco. Mike would probably prefer #3 at this point because he gets to be the visiting team and hit first.

But like you said, doesn't really matter 2/3, it's all the same.

Not only is there the upside of it being close for the large UL softball fan base, I see this as a good regional for UL - with no clear favorite, seed-wise. Although all four teams are solid, the number one seed is not unbeatable and cannot overlook their first opponent. No one will be walking through anyone in this regional.

That is correct according to Scott Farmer. But as have stated, Texas A&M has a higher RPI so it makes them the higher seed.
