    Default Warrior Dash - Louisiana

Any other Cajuns running the Warrior Dash in October? I'm doing it with a bunch of co-workers, but we all start at different times.

I'm also doing this as a St Jude Warrior and raising money for St Jude's on my fundraising page. Just posting in case anyone wishes to donate.

P.S. I have a competition with one of my co-workers to see who can raise the most money.

Didn't know they were doing one here. I've been waiting for the Tough Mudder to come to Louisiana.

Warrior Dash is the only one in Louisiana right now. It's in Denham Springs. I wish more races would expand to Louisiana since almost all of them have races in Texas.

They've had them in New Orleans before. I might just have to do the warrior dash instead.

Running the G.C. half marathon the same day as the warrior dash, if there are spots left in afternoon I may still do it!

    THAT is impressive, my friend.

All competitive races should end with the mass consumption of turkey legs. Usain Bolt did a lap around the stadium while munching on one after his 100m gold performance.

Cold beer is an acceptable substitute for turkey.

The Austin, Houston, and the Gulf Coast (looks like the Pensacola area) Tough Mudder events are all reasonable drives from Louisiana.

I'm registered with some guys from work for the Austin one this October but may reschedule for the Austin one next April due to issues with my left knee.

You guys should really look into the Spartan Race.
