The City of Abbeville is having water leak problems that can not be repaired quick enough due to lack of personnel in the water department. So, Abbeville Mayor Mark Piazza has thrown in the white towel and wants to call in help.
An emergency meeting was held by Piazza and the City Council to update the Council about his plan to hire a contractor to repair the leaks.
At the meeting, the City Council declared the City under a state of emergency because of all of the leaks in the water lines.
