Yeah my friend and I were saying we would have liked to see Frederick bunt Bowman to 3rd so a sac fly could have tied it.

To me we needed to win the game hitting runners in. We put ourselves in the position 3 or 4 times with runnners in scoring position and we didn't hit. Can't win too many games with 2 hits. In the 9th we stole second and had no outs runner at 2nd...I don't disagree hitting the ball on the right side on the ground gets him over, but with a lefty up after frederick we have no chance to steal 3rd, and I don't think bunting with two strikes is the answer. The answer to me is one of the 3 batters who got up in that inning with guy in scoring position have to hit a bleeder, shot in gap, flare, something.
We could get the crowd so much more involved with a lil coordination of the "Ragin'----Cajun" chant that they were doing in the right field stands----Could you imagine the entire left with Ragin' and the right follow with Cajun----Just need to get it together---Also the fight song could hardly be heard----AAAAAAHHHHHH---we are so close at times!!!!!
Why don't u be in charge of that Saturday Boomer

OK So we lost game one, and Our RPI dropped all the way to 42. We have got to win the last two games in the series. Its do or die. I don't think we make a regional unless we win this series and prove that we can beat a very good team.
The post season starts today.
Geaux Cajuns!
No, it is not incorrect. With an unforced runner at second base, you have a better chance of getting a ball to the right side, a fly ball to the outfield, or a base hit anywhere (any of which will do) when swinging away than getting a bunt down with two strikes ... especially when the hitter could not get the bunt down before two strikes. There are a number of ways to get the runner over to third base swinging away.
You also need to account for the hitter at the plate and their ability to bunt vs. their ability to hit.
