There are more than 500 thousand warrants for people who won't pay child support statewide. One woman in Broussard says she's had enough and is desperate to receive child support from her ex-husband David Ashley Droddy.
Droddy is described as 6'2, and 29 years old, 220lbs, with brown hair, and brown eyes. He owes nearly 30-thousand dollars in child support. That's just for one of his kids. He has another one who is eight and has yet to pay a dime for.
A warrant is out for his arrest in Texas for domestic violence, and bodily injury. His ex-wife who chooses to remain anonymous is keeping documents of his non payment. She says Droddy lives in Lexington, Kentucky and is well aware of his responsibilities. "I just wish he would step up to the plate and give them what they deserve. They didn't ask for this. He's living a really good life too. How can you go as if your children never existed?
Droddy's license is suspended. All of the money he owes has been put on a credit against him. However, because he owns a business no wages have been garnished and no money has been paid to his ex-wife.
