LOUISIANA La. — The good traits were many for Louisiana’s basketball squad Wednesday night.
Balance ... no Ragin’ Cajun had more than five field goals, and the squad still had its highest point total in over a year in rolling past Mobile 110-65.
Unselfishness ... four different players had five or more assists, something that hasn’t happened in at least four seasons.
Accuracy ... the Cajuns shot 58.2 percent from the floor, 50.0 from three-point range and 79.3 percent from the free throw line, all season bests.
Depth ... a total of 11 players saw at least five minutes of action, a number that was a physical impossibility only a week ago.
Resilience ... the squad bounced back from a shaky defensive effort in the game’s first 28 minutes and shut out the Mobile squad for over eight minutes in the second half.
