Good skills no doubt but when a player is listed at 6 feet tall they are usually 5'10" or less. If he is to be a true pt guard then his size is fine, but if he is being brought over as a shooting guard, no thanks. Daigle plays well as a shooter but must create separation just to get off a shot and is often to out of control to be a true point.

I agree with your assessment. When is he visiting? I think it will be important to sign two freshman this year.

Why has he not signed already. Does he have other offers or just interest from the schools you listed. Was Johnson the one recruiting him to Tech?

He did not specify which schools had offered when I spoke with him, but he recently told a Mississippi newspaper (two weeks ago) that he had offers from the Cajuns, La Tech and Chattanooga.

IMO, he looks a lot better with the ball in his hands and making things happen off the dribble than Daigle. Seems to have more quickness and ability to get others involved. He also likes to attack the rim and seems to be quite capable of finishing on the drive. Seems like a good pick up if we get him.

Will do. I'm worried about Miss State losing their pg to the draft. They may grab Townsel as a stop gap.
