New Orleans Series (UL leads 76-67): It's the most-played in Cajuns history with 143 meetings being contested. UL and UNO meet for the 35th straight season and take part in a Sun Belt series for the 23rd time. Louisiana has had the most recent success, taking 14 of the last 15 regular season meetings and sweeping UNO five times the past decade. The Cajuns have won 13 of the last 15 meetings held at Maestri Field (swept in 2003, 2005 and 2009). UL holds a 45-20 edge in SBC regular season play and are 35-18 vs. UNO under Tony Robichaux (33-14 in regular season contests).
UL is only one win shy of assuring a winning record.
Two wins would secure the 12th season of 30-plus wins under Tony Robichaux.
