Crowley - Delegation stands in support of continued drilling
WASHINGTON — In the wake of the oil spill creeping toward Louisiana, U.S. congressional delegation members stand united in calling for continued drilling and oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico.
The federal government should proceed with investigations into the rig accident but should stop short of shutting down future harvesting of the oil fields beneath the waters, members said.
