LOUISIANA La. — Familiar faces will make an appearance in the Cajundome tonight when Louisiana hosts McNeese State in one of two home games in December.

Not only will the game be the 80th between the old rivals — UL holds a 49-30 lead after winning 20 of the last 24 — but the visiting Cowboys are also coached by Tic Price.

When Price was at New Orleans, he won 6 of 7 meetings against Ragin’ Cajun squads. He’s 1-1 against UL while at McNeese, including a 76-74 win in Lake Charles last December that snapped a 10-game Cajun win streak in the series.

Price and the Cowboys will be up against some tall odds, though, with the Cajuns 55-10 in December in the Cajundome since it opened in 1985.

In addition, the Cajuns have won their last 8 non-conference home games and are 24-5 in those settings under coach Jessie Evans.

The Cajuns enter the game with a 1-2 record after falling at No. 25 Dayton 66-59 last Tuesday.
