In another thread last week I commented on the lack of "leadership" on the team... to which a debate started that wound its way to comparing Robe and Bustle... a debate I would hope would not continue... but the essence of the debate was that it was opined that I was claiming that when Bustle's teams don't perform its because of him and when Robe's teams don't perform its because of "leadership".. that I was somehow giving Robe a free pass...

If you read the article it states the accomplishments of Baseball during the 10 year run from 1997 - 2007... I do give Robe a pass because of those results and also because it seems that he recognized the problems of the past two years and addressed it..

Baseball is a streaky sport. Hopefully teams are able to turn things around before it gets out of hand. And thats what this team has done over the last 5-6 weeks. Give all the credit in the world to those guys. Lets keep going.

I dont know if the team would take to that idea like "Major League" did, AND I dont think Scott Farmer has the same curves as Margaret Whitton did in Major League. Im just sayin... lol
