Ricky and Betty Desormeaux have been trying to find out what was snatching their chicken and geese for the past two months.
Living near the dead end street on West Maraist south of the Kaplan, the couple would wake each morning to find more of their livestock missing.
Their first attempt to catch the culprit was to attach some meat on the fence and set a trap below it in hopes it would go after the meat instead of a live chicken.
When more chickens and geese went missing, they had to change their tactics. They now hid their traps with leaves.
