UL, the traditional softball power in the Sun Belt Conference, sits on the verge of securing its ninth league title in the past 10 years.

Before that can happen, the conference-leading Ragin' Cajuns (36-15, 17-4 Sun Belt) will focus on final exams this week. Once that's done, they will close the regular season with a three-game series against UL Monroe (21-22, 8-12) starting Saturday at Lamson Park.
