James Francis: Has Three Offers, Who Leads?

La Marque LB James Francis is a prospect to keep an eye on. He already has a few scholarship offers with more expected to come in the near future. We caught up with him to get the latest...
"I have three offers right now," Francis said. "Baylor, Colorado State and Louisiana-Lafayette. Right now, that's it."

At this time, Francis is considering all three of those schools but admits that Baylor is presently leading for his Signing Day sig.

"Baylor's in the lead, they're in the Big 12 and I really think that is the best conference in the country."

Colorado State?

"It's really nice up there and they have a really good program, so I'm liking them too."

LA-Lafayette?

"I'm looking at them too...think I'll take a visit there in January."

Of course, with The University of Houston being nearby, one might wonder how much of a shot they have.

"I would consider them, " Francis said. "They're close to home and they're doing good. But, the edge probably goes to Baylor right now."

Clyde Edwards: Will Visit Louisiana Lafayette

We caught up with Houston WR/DB Clyde Edwards to see how the recruting process has been treating him.
"I'm still looking at Colorado," he said. "I just spoke with them last week about coming up for an official, but we haven't set it up yet."

Louisina Lafayette, meanwhile, has Edwards tripping to their campus January 16-18 weekend.

The two-star prospect said he's looking closely at Kansas too.

Texas A&M is another team Edwards is interested in, but he said, "I haven't heard from them in a while."
