Check this out. Cajuns are #12 in the Sportsline rankings. It's pretty funny. After a 30+ point loss to GA Tech. It just goes to show you how out of whack some of the early rankings can be. I thought I was seeing things when I saw it.

RPI does have a bearing at the end of the season, but right now it's tooooo early.

BTW, to show how much this means right now, I happened to notice another state school who shall remain nameless with a 4-0 record with an RPI rating of 163.

Right now, it says we are playing the toughest schedule in the country. Of course, all that will change within a matter of weeks when we hit Sun Belt play. But it is pretty funny that we are 0-1 in Division 1 games, yet are #12 in the RPI. Hopefully, we can get some wins over the quality opponents we play and hope those opponents keep winning too.
