After tying the game in the 8th at 5-5, Le Moyne yields three more to FSU in the 8th. Le Moyne leaves the bases loaded in the 9th to lose Game #2 8-5. The rubber match is tomorrow.

You forgot McNeese sweeping Lamar, by doing this McNeese has slipped into the top 100 RPI, giving the Cajuns another win over a top 100 team.

This was not meant to be an exhaustive list of Cajun opponents in the Top 100. It was meant to highlight teams that would have a significant impact on the Cajuns' RPI ordinal ranking as well as a few teams that might be in competition with the Cajuns for an at-large.

As far as the Cajun record vs. the Top 100 RPI (which is much less of a concern than vs. the Top 50 and Top 75 RPI), we will need to see if McNeese slips into the Top 100 RPI tomorrow. Chances are that they will since this partition of teams is tightly packed, but it will also depend on other action. McNeese State is (105, 103) in Adjusted and Base RPI heading into today.

Because of the importance of the Top 75 RPI, we need Middle Tennessee to remain in the Top 75. They may drop out after today (currently a Base RPI of 67).

I know you asked Brian, but yes, they are. They are slightly ahead of the Big East and CUSA.

By very slim margins. The Sun Belt is also not far from 8th. CUSA (6th) and the Big West (7th) are right on the Sun Belt's heels ... with the Big East (8th) not far behind.
