Here is the most impressive thing the streak we're on. While everyone is impressed with the hitting, and definitely the pitching, the most important and impressive thing throughout this stretch is that our fielding has improved RIDICULOUSLY. I crunched some numbers, and through the first 28 games (through our last conference loss on April 4th against FIU), we had 48 errors, giving up 1.7 errors a game. Since that last loss, we have only given up 15 errors in 16 games, dropping that 1.7 errors a game mark down to .93 errors a game. Another really interesting thing to note is that through the first 28 games, we had only 3 games where we played error free baseball, in comparison, in the last 16 games, we've had 7 error free games. Its just facts, when you don't give away outs, pitchers will look better, and the team as a whole will have more confidence. Lets keep playing some sound fundamental baseball.
