What do you think of this helmet

I definitely like it. I think the logo needs to be as large as possible to cover the maximum area on the side of the helmet. Then, as previously stated, outline it in black to give a little more detail.

This is smart, simple, and classy. This is big time. We desprestritey need new blood, someone to sell this program. We treat everything as a cost or a problem not an oppuntinity. Were complain about no money and hang around with division II schools in the sun belt. If we make an effort to get in a larger conference we will play bigger schools and go to better bowl games. We recruit the Houston, Dallas areas, we should be playing the Houston's, rice, smu, Tulsa Tcu Southern Miss. This schedule will bring more fans to our games (more fans more money) This logo says it all, BIG TIME. We don't need an in-door practice area to play II teams; this awesome structure will bring the recruits to get us to the next level. My only concern is we need someone to get us to that level, we are close to running out of time. We've got a great coach now let him work his magic. Our fans don't want to see double AA competition, bring on the big boys. Again Thanks for this great LOGO it speaks volumes, GO Big L, Go Louisiana, we love you Cajuns.

Turbine, I just saw it for the first time and I love it! It has the "Miami" effect without being a steal of what they have. The fleur depicts "Cajuns" like the spear depicts "Indians" for ULM.

I downloaded a copy of that for myself. My personal favorite will always be the tri-fleur but I could be VERY, VERY HAPPY with this one.

PLEASE e-mail it to Bustle! It's clear to me that he wants a logo change and is meeting resistance.

You are very welcome. Part of the goal is to create a logo that can be seen (and recognized) from VERY far away.

The small graphic above only takes up 7x7 pixels. No stadium or TV would present a helment that far away, so opponents, media and fans will always see "University of Louisiana"

ps to answer a potential caveat, this design is 100% legal.

I say we put a big UL on it with the L coming from the middle of the U.

Put Cajuns or Louisiana on the front of our jerseys.

Hey, Turbine. Seems to me we need a universal logo for all athletics that would fit the helmet.

I think we went through this a couple of years ago, and we already have the logos to put on the helmet.

#1 The UL with the lafayette in small script letters at the bottom. This would be my choice for the helmet. All the other sports use it. It is on the baseball unis. White UL letters with laff. in black at the bottom on the red helmet. NOBODY will be able to see anything but a BIG UL. Just like the end zones.

#2 Hot wheels logo. Again, this is used for lots of things. It does have a nice look to it on a helmet.

These logos are already associated with our great alma mater. They are legal. We would not be ripping off another school.

The logo's pretty neat but I just wish the U was connected together instead of split at the bottom.

Yeah, why NOT connect the U?? I don't think it would diminish the appearance of it at all.
