BATON ROUGE – The LSU Tiger Tour, an annual speaking tour featuring head coach Les Miles and other LSU personalities, will be stopping in Lafayette on Thursday, April 29, at the River Oaks Catering and Event Center.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will get underway at 7 p.m. Tickets are $75 for individuals. Tables of 8 are also available for $1,000 in tier 1 and $500 in tier 2. In Lafayette, Miles will be joined by LSU Vice Chancellor and Athletic Director Joe Alleva and Maj. Gen. Ron Richard, CEO of the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
The LSU Tiger Tour 2010 presented by Capital One, Cox Sports Television, 1045ESPN.com and the LSU National L-Club is a joint effort of the Tiger Athletic Foundation, the LSU Foundation and the LSU Alumni Association.
The LSU Tiger Tour 2010 begins in Alexandria at the Riverfront Center on April 28, followed by stops in Lafayette at the River Oaks Catering and Event Center on April 29, Shreveport/Bossier City at the Horseshoe Casino on May 10, and Monroe at the Monroe Civic Center Arena on May 11.
The tour will continue in June at the Tchefuncta Country Club in Covington on June 4, and in Morgan City at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium on June 10.
The tour will conclude in July with stops in Lake Charles at the Isle of Capri Casino on July 15, in Houston, TX at the J.W. Marriott on July 22, New Orleans at the Riverside Hilton on July 25 and culminating in Baton Rouge at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on July 29.
