The only thing remotely close is the U. And if we used the opening that Turbine did originally with the rotating figures it would be a unique and memorable icon.

Tis the Summer and we are all like a bunch of old bull elephants, getting mean and nasty over the least little comments.

I also think that the U would be seen as copying Miami, as would the state logo be seen as copying Tech.


Interlocking UL is the best choice.

We must have a logo that is worthy of THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA and not be seen as copying another school.

It must be seen and recognized as distinctly and soley ours.

And the interlocking UL is a copy of an almost dead Louisville logo. So it's wash.

In my opinion what is best is what can say "University of Louisiana" no questions asked.
