Elite teams do not load the bases and then come away with 1 total run from 2 bases loaded situations... elite teams use those opportunities to crush teams. Cajun hitting has some work to do...

You said it. This is not an elite team, used to dominate Sun Belt competition and not leave 9 runners on base, Troy only left 3. I still think they can get better, need to pitch Cuevas more than Bourgeois.

This team has plenty of potential, but their struggles to cash in on situations where runs need to be scored has been their downfall.

edit: I think they know Cuevas is their ace this season and is who will have to carry them to victory if they want another SBC Championship. I think right now they are trying to limit her innings to maximize her for the SBC Tournament and hopefully beyond. Teams seem to be locked into whatever Bourgeois is throwing... just to state the obvious; thats not good.
