Confidence Factor Rules
All you have to do is state how confident you are of a Ragin' Cajun victory.
- When the Cajuns win you get your confidence points.
- When they lose you get your lack of confidence points.
By stating how confident you are, we know both.
For example; in the first game of the season UL is playing Georgia Tech, if you are 95% sure of a victory simply post how confident you are. If the Cajuns win you get 95 points, if they lose you get 5 points.
The stipulations are (for the first 19 games of the season) you must make your choices in 5% increments, and you must use every 5 point increment only once. No 0% or 100% till you run the table. See graph below.
Once you use every 5% increment, you can free for all the remainder of the games. "Free for all" means you can go 100% for every game the rest of the way or if the season isn't looking good you can go 0% as often as you like, or you can go any where you wish with your confidence factor.
To give you an example of how the game will look, Butch (whom I work with, and last years winner) has told me he is only 5% confident of a victory over Georgia Tech. Obviously he is predicting a loss, so if the Cajuns lose he will get 95 points if they win he gets 5 points. I on the other hand and a little more optimistic but still am not predicting a victory I have a 35% confidence factor.
If the Cajuns win the score will look like this.

Butch cannot use 5% and I cannot use 35% again till we run the table. Each week the list will be posted so you will know what you can and cannot use.
