Much like the music, wind whipped through the streets of downtown Lafayette Friday, and a light mist at night prompted some to pop their umbrellas. While crowds seemed a little thinner than they were Thursday night, many festival-goers embraced the conditions.
"It's perfect, it's cool, it's peaceful, it's wonderful, come on out," said Mona Menard of Lafayette.
The lack of sunshine was hardly a deterrent, and should the crowds fell any precipitation, many won't let mother nature get in the way of having a fun time.
"Definitely in the rain, definitely in the shine, just a great time to be here," said Robert Kennedy of Lafayette.
