Investigators say they've invested more than 1,000 man hours looking for 39 year old Bubba Kidder. He left for a fishing trip with two of his friends on March 26th and never returned.

It's been more than 3 weeks since anyone has seen or heard from Bubba Earl Kidder, Junior. Deputies from St. Martin Sheriff's Office and other agencies have teamed up…sending out search teams in the Sherburne Wildlife Management Area--a land mass of more than 50,000 miles.

They have been searching by boat, land and air...but say they're fighting against the harsh swamp lands and Louisiana wildlife.

The investigation started after the car Kidder was in, turned up burned.

Deputies started combing through the Sherburne Wildlife Management Area after the car was found searching for Kidder. The two friends he went fishing with told authorities he took the car just before he vanished.

Family members have posted missing persons flyers in Opelousas, with hopes someone knows what happened to Kidder.
