If you're going to go with Blue Dog, I suggest that you wait until Sunday on your way out and hit up the Sunday Brunch. Its the cat's ass.

If you do, though make sure you get there before 10:30 (when it opens). Last time I went, we got there at about 10:20 and there was a line of about 40 people waiting for the place to open. Pretty hot ticket-- specially with Festival in town. If you get there at 11, expect to wait 1.5 hours.

Who would have thought you could go in a place like that and order a 5K bottle of wine? Not that I ever did. _

Anyway, when it comes to pizza, there are plenty of really good choices in the area. Deanos, Pizza Village and its clone JJ's (apparently if you're from Breaux Bridge, its a requirement to love the Village), BJ's, La Pizzeria. Stiff competition for ole Alesi _

If you're from Breaux Bridge, you have to mention Cafe des Amis. unbelievable food and white chocolate bread pudding beyond compare.
