Thread: UL Students get to pet School Mascot

  1. Louisiana UL Students get to pet School Mascot

Students at the University of Louisiana got a rare chance to interact with baby alligators on campus.

While students cannot pet the wild alligators living in Cypress Lake on the UL campus, they were able to safely pet, hold, and take photos with baby alligators.

I still remember getting to walk by a 5 or 6-foot alligator sunning itself on the bank of Cypress Lake right before Burke Hall one day...

The alligator needs to be our official mascot. I hope this new University President makes it a priority to have a mascot named by fall. This is an easy way to brand ourselves and foster identity.
