Thread: Despite Troy's two comebacks, Cajuns plan on keeping new rotation

  1. UL Baseball Despite Troy's two comebacks, Cajuns plan on keeping new rotation

The UL baseball coaching staff decided to shuffle the pitching rotation last weekend against the Troy Trojans in Alabama.

The new approach moved closer Cody Brasch to the Friday night starter role, while freshman Sawyer Pruitt returned to a relief role.

The motivation was pretty apparent. In 10 weekend series openers this season, the Cajuns are 2-8 with a 6.13 ERA from the starting pitchers.

    Dumb..

Brasch is great as a closer because he comes in throwing 5-10mph faster than every other pitcher we have. His delivery is very awkward and the 2nd/3rd time thru the lineup they'll have it timed up like a grapefruit

At this point though who cares? Try whatever.. Brasch and Pruitt will both be gone next year so just throw some ____ at the wall
