It’s always the coach
It’s always the coach
Pruitt could have saved the game if used earlier Friday. They couldn't touch him.
Problem was Troy already had the lead when he went in.
Today Troy had already seen Pruitt and they were ready for him.
Wow! I left at 9-3 UL. Saved myself a few hundred bucks, tv might of suffered damage.
That was pretty freaking ugly.
We had a arsenal of relievers post the Mizzou State opening series.....that in a 20 game.stretch were collectively rock solid. 4-5 week stretch wherr we looked pretty good.
Since @Texas State debacle......less #15 when healthy. Our bullpen has been flat out scary. A couple good innings here/there to win or save a game occasionally.....but no one less Cody B out of pen has been good consistently for several weeks. No coach ever looks good when he has virtually no one in pen that is consistently dependable.
We lead the world in giving up.walk off home runs these last.20 games.
At a 41 RPI after the USM series, it looked like the ship was back on course.
Warren Nolan has us at 54 RPI. Seems like the ship is taking on agua
Win the tourney or stay home at this point?
For me it was, I said "A game in hand is worth two in the brush."
Counting Saturdays win, there were two ways to win the series this weekend.
1) go straight to Pruitt on Friday while you have the lead. He was unhittable. Cajuns win
Going to Pruitt after losing the lead was a head scratcher.
2) Keep Pruitt fresh for Sunday. Cajuns Win. Instead, after seeing him Friday, Troy was ready for him.
