I guess better question is are they harder to find....many other sports played at various levels or kids just playing in a playground. Dont see too many random kids just running anymore it seems
now you are trying to replace the “blind pig” with a well renowned physical therapy group - I guess you are trying to broaden horizons beyond the actual reality of what is truly available
How many diamonds in the rough are there out there to be found in track?
Not that many; though a perceptive coach might recruit a 48 second 400 guy with length and good hip flexibility and make him into a 51 second 400 hurdler. At 48, he can't compete in the 400. At 51 in the 400 hurdles he might be a conference champion or better.
