TSAB 3B was legit in the field. Bunting wasn't going to work. But maybe we could have tried?

It amazes me at how “correct” people feel they have to show they are on here to others. Sometimes it’s ok to just read without having to pick out one word or statement and prove someone wrong.

Small Ball can be extremely successful ... if you never do it.

    By "never" I mean rarely.

Lol. TCU had an all American track guy on full ride plus undisclosed amounts of cash..... who began his college career at UL. I expect our guys on the 4x100 will not be here long. You just don't have track guys whining about it.

In a unique perspective, they’re literally taking Steve Miller’s advice.

Track is unique where an athlete is always competing against their PRs. There’s no concern about level of competition influencing the numbers.

What I got out of the Coach Habetz postgame interview was a coach who looks worn out after trying to stress all avenues of solutions. It just isn't clicking.

I think everyone on here has posted some good points as to why we are struggling. But with the facilities, history, fan base, and support we already have; I (at a minimum) expect to compete in the conference. Getting swept by ULM and an average JMU team is unacceptable. Right now, we are in position to not even make the conference tournament that we are hosting. If we somehow miss out on it, there needs to be serious talks from the inside on where we want this program to go for the future because this current path can't continue.

Unfortunately this path can and maybe will continue until it’s our turn to be the blind hog who finds the acorn . . . the way I see it, that is the only thing remaining to set teams apart in our conference - the blind hog theory/success . . .
