That’s a monster series win and against a top 10 team. We were pretty fortunate today. Pitching and defense saved our butts. USM pitching has to be feeling pretty about the last 2 games.

The hitting just is what it is. Only 5 hits on a Sunday again. It’s mid April. No switch is going to be flipped there.

You know you can compliment a team on winning and still scrutinize aspects of the performance, right? I don’t think they got a hit after the 3rd inning. You can’t understand how important pitching and defense was without acknowledging that.
