Another very poor performance. Bad in pitching, hitting and fielding along with questionable coaching. Other than that, things are great.

It’s apparent this team has lost all confidence whatsoever. They weren’t tearing it up by any means early in the year, but at least they were competing.

They seem to have just given up. This is just so sad on every level. Maggard needs to take the former Cajun player checkbox off of his list for all future hires. Not sure it’ll matter in this day and age of budget crises and NIL, or if we’ll even have a softball program left when Alyson decides to resign.

I personally love Aly and Lacy. I don’t know Shipman or Kyle very well at all. I have spoken to Kyle a good bit and really like him, Shipman very little communication with outside of a few hellos. Seems to be a man of few words or maybe just don’t like me. LOL


I say that to say this, for everyone involved I pray success for each of them as coaches and every young lady on the team. It is clear the season to this point is not going as anyone had hoped including those Coaches I am sure!!

It’s extremely easy from the outside to pick apart every detail not working (and I’m not criticizing or saying fans here don’t have that right) but I personally wish them ALL success!! I stand behind them as a fan and hope the team can figure things out. Until then, I will continue watching these coaches and young ladies do all they can to compete.

PS, and for the record I may be the worst softball fan in the world. I am guilty of coaching constantly from the stands or from my couch on things I would do differently or critiques I may have but I typically do that to myself or an extremely tight knit group of folks I trust. And, that’s not just UL, I do it with EVERY GAME I watch. LOL
