CajunsWin 4x100-meter relay at Crimson Tide Invitational

The Louisiana men's 4x100-meter relay team of Garry Munro, Mark Daley, Caemon Scott and Camren Hardy tied a school record with a first-place time of 39.91 seconds Friday as the Ragin' Cajuns wrapped up competition at the Crimson Tide Invitational at Sam Bailey Stadium.

Louisiana matched the school record in the 4x100 relay, previously set in 2024 at the Auburn Invitational by Trejun Jones, Munro, Floyd Pond and Jahmad Booth. The Cajuns' winning time is the fastest among Sun Belt Conference teams this outdoor season and ranks 17th nationally.

Not completely true. They were and are allowed to enter professional events and accept prize money so long as the prize does not exceed their reasonable and necessary expenses to participate in the meet. They are NOT allowed to have professional coaches, agents or similar persons, or to accept prize money in excess of the direct cost to the athlete to participate in the meet.
