Louisiana Baseball closes out the first half of its 2026 Sun Belt Conference schedule when the Ragin' Cajuns host No. 10-ranked Southern Miss in a three-game series beginning Friday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.


First pitch for Friday's opener is set for 6 p.m. The series continues on Saturday at 2 p.m., with the series finale set for Sunday at 1 p.m

Oh, we know what to think about this team, but I'm trying to not be negative.
What I've seen the last few weeks tells me that USM is gonna swep the Cajuns with relative ease.
Hopefully, they can turn it around against a top ten team, but I doubt it.

I haven't given up hope on this team yet. They play good defense. Pitching...Tollet needs to figure out what he had earlier in the season.

If we can start to have some semblance of consistent hitting with our defense continuing to play the way it has, and Tollet and another pitcher or two in the bullpen refigure it out...we can find out way into a Regional.
