How 50 Louisiana Students Lost Their Florida Spring Break In 48 Hours

The party is officially over for a group of University of Louisiana Lafayette students who barely managed to unpack their bags before being kicked out of their Florida vacation rental.

In less than two days, a Spring Break trip to Miramar Beach turned into an immediate eviction after Walton County Sheriff’s deputies and property managers discovered more than 50 people crammed into a single house on Ellis Road.

Dean of students playing 4D chess!
Probably just spring breakers from select high schools

My friends and I took several Florida "Breaks" while in college in the early 80's. We had a great time and drank too much but we never did any damage to the places we stayed at or any damage to any property. That was something that was unacceptable and that we simply did not do. We spent our time in a more constructive manner, drinking and pursuing girls.

Some things get old, but nothing changes. Kids will be kids.

Wonder when NIL recipients in spring sports will start demanding time off to go to spring break

Well using student loan monies to go on the trips with hope of debt being forgiven might be a change.... cant tell anymore who earned their trip, who borrowed their trip and who still uses the old fashioned way- daddy's money

I used my student loan money for spring break one time, but I never thought it would ever be forgiven and it was not. LOL. I paid all of it back, I can promise you that!
It took me to age 40 to pay it off, but I did it!
I do not regret it either. Had the time of my life.

When I was in school I had a professor who encouraged us to go on spring break. As Townes Van Zandt once sang, Time is a fast ole train.
