Among Non-P4 schools, the SBC holds 10 of the top 50 RPI, 6 of the top 25 and 4 of the top 10. In fact, the SBC is weaker at the top, but stronger at the bottom than the ACC and the Big 10.

As of 4/6/26 the Cajuns have 15 regular season games remaining. Of those 15, 4 are vs RPI 1-25, 5 are vs RPI 26-50, 3 are vs RPI 51-100 and 3 are vs RPI 101+.

For the first time that I recall, Louisiana is in a conference which actually improves its chances for an at-large NCAA bid. I am not saying we will be able to do that, only that if we sweep JMU and win the CCU, USA and Marshall series and beat one of McNeese, UVa or LSU we will have an RPI and resume good enough to be at least considered for an at large.
