I specifically remember talking to Watts at that game. I remember asking her if she could throw a softball as hard as she could throw a javelin as she won the state title in the javelin. I told her it was great that she was going to be a Ragin Cajun.

So you admit to being a casual fan, you come on here and start lecturing people and questioning the support of the people who have BEEN supporting this program for YEARS....DECADES even. Then you get pushback (rightfully so) and already questioning whether you want to continue your support? LoL! What did you think was gonna happen? Marceaux had a hell of a weekend at the plate. She definitely stepped up her game. Smith has really digressed to the point where she is basically an automatic out. It's probably time to take her out of the lineup and give some reps to someone else to see what happens. Our pitching just isn't D1 quality right now, much less Sunbelt quality. Mackles is probably our hardest thrower but she has a location problem. I would like to see Habetz give her chance and give her a leash on the walks. We have got to do try something different that throwing Noble and Hoover who each barely throw over 60.

Some of yall have dillusions of grandeur. It has been 12 years since this program made the World Series. We have not been this “powerhouse” in 12 years. The coach took over a team decimated by money and the former plug Head Coach. She has been here for 1, let me say this again 1, really full transfer portal, and 1 full recruiting season in which she brought in some talent. The team is still relatively young, and she is faced with a fn budget crisis. A budget crisis in a time when college sports is about money and nothing else. Name another coach who faced that??? The threats on here that I am not gonna get tickets support this program etc etc is old. If you let this make you that unhappy then poo or get off the pot because you are becoming tiresome. This is not directed at any individual but a collective few.

You are the delusional one. It has only been 2 years since we made a super regional. Last year we broke a string of consecutive seasons in the NCAA tournament dating back to 1999, and a string of 13 consecutive seasons in which we advanced to at least the championship game of an NCAA regional. Two years ago, and for at least 30 years before that, we were an elite national program.
