Thread: Time for a change?

First off, coaching change has to be made and a true search needs to be done. We need an NIL fund/effort, to augment administration Cajuns Edge program if we ever want to compete anywhere close to standard we are accustomed to. Glasco told the administration NIL fund amount needed to compete and was basically told no way. So this is the dilemma we find ourselves in today based on the administration's refusal to do anything. Our fan base will need to step up to provide some sort of fund or we all can just stop _____ing about the state of the program. We as a fan base will have to help the new coach get this in place because we know Maggard and RCAF are useless at this. I will put my share up. We need to adapt or die on the vine. And before anyone says this can't be done, that's the Authement culture of can't that's crippled this program for the past 50 years. Our fan base needs to decide, we can't stick our heads in the sand and hope for success or step up, nothing is ever free.

Doubt it. I am hoping she is encouraged to resign or maybe, just maybe she realizes she needs to for the good of the program.

I would not be surprised if Watts hits the portal…she is too good to not be being utilized.

Or to be asked to bunt on many occasions when she's brought on as a pinch hitter. That does wonders for her self confidence I would think.

It is a bit early to be speculating about which players, if any, hit the portal. there are still 10 games remaining in the regular season.

Exactly….its hard to be successful when you are set up for failure…take until You get a strike or 2…don’t swing at this pitch…only swing or bunt a certain pitch !!
How about…read the defense and get on base however you can…just swing or bunt strikes ! They have to think about way too much…just let them play the game…they know what to do, they made it to the college level for gods sake.

excellent observation, spoken like a player that’s been there.

In the new NIL age, when a team has a season that doesn’t meet expectations, it seems players don’t look within and are quick to seek greener pastures…and money. Never bothering to look in the mirror.

    Tenth place this morning.

4 of the bottom 6 teams were swept this weekend, all lost Sunday. Misery loves company.

Nope, she needs to resign. Probably requires some outside push ,because Maggard won’t do it. I wonder who on the outside could do this, hmmmmmmmm🤔🤔🤔
