( automatic out, the out is not the problem if at the right time, but you have to get the ball out of the infield) Our pitchers are not good enough to spot pitches like upper tier pitchers, the walks and hit batters are a big concern. What does the pitching coach actually do? It’s obvious Ally has a tight leash on him and the hitting coach. Just my observation is all
Those coaches would have never been hired if they didn't have the financial restraints. Getting better coaches on campus would be a great start.

There’s $$$ in this town, need to get a good recruiter/coach. Maggard needs to stop with the hometown thinking. Ally is a nice lady, just not a head Coach. People are sitting on their wallets until a change is made, he can’t wait until the end of the season. It can’t get much worse at this point. The girls need a new lease, won’t find it with Ally

Maggard will not fire Alyson regardless of the results this season.

There is money in this town...but I don't see it suddenly going to UL softball, unfortunately. The money in this town prefers to be heard and seen in Baton Rouge. Even those whose diplomas read University of Southwestern Louisiana, University of Louisiana, or University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

It is what it is. I hate it, but it's reality.

If the Cajuns don't win today, looking at the remaining schedule it is very possible they may not win another game this season.

I get the whole coaching problem, but you would think that at some point, these players would have some self pride.

A comment was made about many of these players being Glasco recruited players and not looking like they have the ability to play for any of his teams. If that’s the case, how long was he just going through the recruiting motions while he was planning his exit?

This much of a disaster cannot be placed at the feet of any one person or reason. There is PLENTY of blame to go around.

That said, I think mine was a fair question to ask. Does our current roster look anywhere near the caliber of players we had two short years ago to you?
