The UL Ragin’ Cajuns were hoping for some negative trends to change in a rare midweek afternoon game Tuesday at Joe Miller Ballpark in Lake Charles, but it didn’t happen.

UL starting pitcher JR Tollett kept struggling with the home run and the bats remained silent in a 10-7 road loss to the McNeese Cowboys.

Tollett gave up two homers leading to six runs on seven hits in four innings. Reliever Tyler Papenbrock then yielded four runs on four hits in two innings.
